When I think about giving, I recall a powerful message from our founder about partnering with God and having God as your business partner. Reflecting on this, I am grateful for how far God has brought me and what He has brought me through, including a severe truck accident where the impact miraculously spared our lives. My co-driver hit the corner of another big truck and was thrown from the truck and hung by the wheels, but he was not run over. I was asleep in the sleeper, and the impact pushed my bed up toward the ceiling, sparing my life as well. We both are completely disabled from driving again, but we are both still alive.
This is why I love to sing the song: "Lord, prepare me to be a sanctuary, Pure, Holy, Tried, and True; with thanksgiving, I'll be a Living Sanctuary for You. Can you, dear visitor, sing with me saying, yes, yes, Lord, make my life a living sanctuary for you?
