Welcome to our page. I am Dr. Robert E. Hale, proudly serving as the President and one of the Treasurers of Withered Hand Ministries, Inc. When I think about giving, I recall a powerful message from our co-founder, Dr. Jerry W. Hulse, about partnering with God and having God as your business partner.
Reflecting on this, I am grateful for how far God has brought me and what He has brought me through, including a severe truck accident where the impact miraculously spared our lives. My co-driver hit the corner of another big truck; the effect was indescribable.
The impact was severe that my co-driver, seat, and all were cut out of the truck, and they miraculously found him hanging still in his seat, hung up on our second trailer. It had only been a few hours since I spoke with Dr. Jerry Hulse on the phone while changing drivers in Needles, California. I recall that during the call, he told me the Lord said, "Robert, you are coming out of that truck faster than you can blink your eyes."
I was asleep in the sleeper, and the impact pushed my bed up toward the ceiling, sparing my life as whatever cut him out of his seat, cut through under my head, lifting me and pressing me against the ceiling of the sleeper. We are both completely disabled from driving again, but we are both still alive to tell our story.
This is why I love to sing the song: "Lord, prepare me to be a sanctuary, Pure, Holy, Tried, and True; with thanksgiving, I'll be a Living Sanctuary for You. Can you, dear visitor, sing with me, saying, Yes, yes, Lord, make my life a living sanctuary for you?
It's crucial to understand that while prayer is capable of moving Heaven, it takes money to move things on Earth. God's word teaches that he loves a cheerful giver, someone who gives joyfully from their heart.
